Washington seized early-down role with 25 carries vs. Jeanty's 2 on Sunday.

Washington Wally Pipped Ashton Jeanty on Sunday versus the Jets, rushing 25 times to Jeanty's two carries (though Jeanty added three catches for 64 yards). Jeanty has not hit 25 carries in a game this year and only once as a rookie. Washington is averaging slightly more yards after contact than Jeanty and has a 7.7% explosive run rate versus Jeanty's dismal 1.9%. Installing Washington as the primary early-down option makes sense for the Raiders, though the source is skeptical the coaching staff is truly giving up on their top-five pick from last year and maxes out Washington bids at 10%.
