FantasyPros Articles on Zay Flowers

Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley injuries force Flowers to third-string QB, capping ceiling.

Zay Flowers scored zero fantasy points in Week 8, held without a catch for the first time in his career. More critically, Lamar Jackson is headed to injured reserve and Tyler Huntley developed a turf toe injury, forcing Baltimore to potentially start third-string quarterback Joe Fagnano. With Fagnano under center, Baltimore managed just 144 total yards against Buffalo's 31st-ranked pass defense. This quarterback situation will significantly hinder Flowers' ceiling, warranting a drop in tier rankings despite remaining a starter, with a panic meter grade of 1.5.
