Yahoo Sports NFL on Ashton Jeanty

Jeanty benched on early downs but retains air-game edge over Washington.

Jeanty was benched on early downs by the Raiders coaching staff after speaking during the week about the Jets' tackling issues. He was out-carried 25-2 by Mike Washington Jr., though he gained just 10 fewer yards on 20 fewer touches (73 yards vs. 83 yards). Despite Washington getting stuffed on short-yardage carries including at the goal line, Jeanty now faces a touches dogfight. However, with his dominance of high-value handles through the air, Jeanty is probably still the preferred play in fantasy.
