Yahoo Sports NFL on Emmett Johnson

Johnson leads Chiefs in receiving yards and posts 73-yard TD; breakout week.

Johnson finally got more involved as a pass catcher in Week 8 against Denver, leading the Chiefs in both aerial yards and yards from scrimmage while posting the team's longest gain, a 73-yard touchdown. He was also grinding out tough gains on the ground and might have finally made this a two-back backfield. The source notes that while this is nothing against Kenneth Walker III, it reflects the Chiefs' starved skill corps talent, and Johnson appears to have more playmaking ability than any other Chief besides Walker.
