Lamar Jackson, first play back after a three-game absence, uh, injures his thumb, apparently severely. Uh, he'll have surgery likely not committing to being done for the rest of the year... maybe maybe after the week 14 he can come back but for all intents and purpose. He took a hit to the knee from Ed Oliver and I wasn't sure he was going to get up.

Severe thumb injury requiring surgery; possible return after week 14
Lamar Jackson suffered a severe thumb injury on his first play back after a three-game absence and will require surgery; while not committing to being done for the season, there is talk he may return after week 14, creating significant fantasy uncertainty. He also took a hit to the knee from Ed Oliver during the game with uncertainty about whether he would be able to continue playing.
