Chris Godwin, guys, had a nine-yard touchdown wiped away on the illegal shift penalty...very nice connection from Baker to Godwin on a little flat route from nine yards out

Nine-yard TD negated by illegal shift penalty; clean catch wiped away.

Had a nine-yard touchdown wiped away by an illegal shift penalty in Week 7. The penalty was caused by Bucky Irving not coming to a full stop before the snap, and it negated what was a very nice connection from Baker Mayfield to Godwin on a flat route. The penalty did not have any bearing on the actual play itself, making it a frustrating missed scoring opportunity.
