Stafford reflects on age-related physical decline affecting on-field performance.

Stafford, 38 (turning 39 in February), acknowledged the physical toll of age on NFL performance, specifically commenting on the difficulty of bending at the knees and recovering loose balls at his age. He sympathized with teammate Aaron Donald's botched fumble recovery attempt, noting 'If anybody knew how hard it is at our age to go down there and get a ball.' Stafford has thrown 463 touchdown passes in his career and rushed for 18 more.
