Trading for Jonathan Taylor, which has been rumored, would be a big headline in Minnesota before the trade deadline. Taylor would obviously help, but it's not like there aren't other issues on the offense.

Rumored Vikings trade target could upgrade Minnesota's thin backfield.

The source reports that trading for Jonathan Taylor has been rumored for the Vikings before the trade deadline. Taylor would help Minnesota's offense, though the Vikings have broader issues including a thin guard position after Donovan Jackson's torn meniscus in Week 4. An upgrade like Taylor could make everyone look better and would be a fun trade for everyone.
