Gibbs and Vaki combined for 230 yards and 5.9 YPC against elite Vikings defense.

Gibbs and Sione Vaki formed a dominant one-two punch against Minnesota's elite defense; after a modest first half (combined 16 carries, 66 yards, 4.1 YPC), the duo erupted in the second half with 18 carries for 152 yards (8.4 YPC), 143 yards after contact, 12 missed tackles forced, and six 10-plus-yard runs with only one stuff. The Lions' adjustment to gap-scheme runs involving Gibbs proved effective, and the pair combined for 230 rushing yards and 5.9 YPC—a combination no offense had accomplished against Minnesota under Brian Flores.
