Brissett demoted to third-string after 3-5 start; LaFleur cites need for spark.

Jacoby Brissett has been demoted from starting quarterback to emergency third QB role for the Arizona Cardinals after starting the team's first eight games and leading them to a 3-5 record. Coach Mike LaFleur acknowledged the difficulty of the decision, saying 'That's not easy. It's not a fun phone call,' but noted that 'we needed a spark' and that the demotion was not solely on Brissett but was 'collective, starting with me.'
