The idea that Jalen Hurts was holding this offense back, and that everything would look dramatically different with a quarterback who preferred playing under center and throwing over the middle, should be finished by now.

The narrative that Hurts held back the Eagles offense is disproven by McKee's struggles.

The source argues that the idea Jalen Hurts was holding the Eagles offense back should be finished by now. The offensive problems persist with McKee under center, proving that changing the quarterback was never going to solve the Eagles' systemic issues. The source does not claim Hurts was playing perfectly, but rather that the offense's limitations are structural, not quarterback-dependent.
