Watson overcame early drops but still has issues this season; 16 fewer targets than Golden.

Watson is cited as a contemporary example of a receiver who had early-career drop issues but has mostly overcome them, though the source notes he continues to have some drop problems this season. Watson currently has 16 fewer targets than Matthew Golden, positioning him as a comparison point for how receivers can improve from drop-prone starts.
