Yahoo Sports NFL on Bo Nix

Nix's early-game timidity and tipped passes limit efficiency; needs deeper reads.

Bo Nix shows concerning tendencies in early-game execution: he is far too timid on 3rd down, throwing short of the sticks; he had multiple tipped passes that cost the team on 3rd down; he threw a pass into the dirt on 3rd and 10 when Waddle was streaking with separation; and he attempted a backwards throw to Trautman that the source calls "the most ghastly thing" from the Broncos offense. The source attributes this to Nix playing it safe to avoid turnovers and needing to improve his reads at 6, 8, and 10-12 yard depths.
