Yahoo Sports NFL on Sean Mannion

Mannion faces doubt despite player support; source expects him gone by next season.

The source notes Mannion has dealt with an insane amount of injuries and that players speak highly of him with no on-the-record criticism or anonymous complaints. However, the offense is historically bad, and while the source recommends leaving him in place for now with the bye week approaching for self-scouting, there is doubt about his future; sources told Bleeding Green Nation that Mannion "simply seems overwhelmed" and "will not be here next season. Maybe sooner than that."
