Williams received 16 carries in Week 8 compared to 11 for Blake Corum, but with seven minutes left in the game and the Rams leading 24-9, Williams had logged just five carries. He was used to run out the clock in a lopsided victory over the winless Chargers, while Corum carried the ball more when the game was in doubt. Williams has averaged 4.9 yards per carry. Both players should be ranked among the top-20 RB options for a favorable Week 9 matchup against a Commanders defense that has been average against the run.
