Baltimore Beatdown on Austin Reed

Reed dealing with ankle injury but optimistic about availability for Ravens.

Austin Reed, the undrafted rookie who played for the Ravens in the preseason, is dealing with an ankle injury that limited him at Monday's walkthrough. Both the player and club have expressed optimism about his availability. Reed is positioned as a potential backup to Joe Fagnano if Fagnano starts, with the possibility that he could be elevated from the practice squad to back up Fagnano while Slovis serves as the emergency No. 3 quarterback on the 53-man roster.
