The Jordan Addison routes are too often derailed, too. If he played like a first-round WR, then Jefferson wouldn't see these looks nearly as often.

Addison's underperformance forces defenses to focus on Jefferson.

Addison's routes are too often derailed in Kevin O'Connell's offense. If Addison played like a first-round receiver, Jefferson would not see the defensive looks he currently faces, as teams would be forced to respect multiple receiving threats. His underperformance relative to draft capital contributes to the Vikings' offensive struggles and Jefferson's reduced fantasy value.
