Mitchell's 222 air yards and 74% route share signal breakout potential after Week 8 explosion.

Mitchell returned from a four-game absence in Week 7 with limited role (55% route share), but exploded in Week 8 with seven catches for career-high 142 yards and a touchdown on 74% route share. He recorded 222 air yards (2nd-most in league) and ran go routes 34.6% of the time, showcasing dangerous vertical upside. Playing with Geno Smith, who attacks downfield at 13.6% of pass attempts traveling 20+ yards (9th-highest), Mitchell projects as a boom/bust option going forward.
