Yahoo Sports NFL on Dak Prescott

Prescott's offense sputtered with 261 yards despite facing league's worst defense.

Prescott's offense sputtered against Arizona's defense despite scoring 30 points; the source notes the Cowboys had 261 total yards against the league's worst defense and lacked creative play calls to free up players, often without correct protection setups. Two of three touchdowns came from Prescott scrambles rather than structured plays, and the offense couldn't execute critical moments like running out the clock with a needed first down. The source emphasizes that an offense with Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, and several first-round offensive linemen couldn't get the job done in critical moments.
