Taylor's limited passing game usage may lower his trade price versus McCaffrey's.

Two caveats suggest Taylor's trade price could be lighter than McCaffrey's. First, McCaffrey's heavier usage in the passing game offsets concerns about the depreciating value of aging running backs in ways that Taylor's style might not. Secondly, the 49ers were bidding against division-rival Los Angeles Rams for McCaffrey in 2022, which drove the price up. Taylor may not command the same auction dynamic.
