Yahoo Sports NFL on Tony Pollard

Pollard's 595 yards, 6 TDs (9th in league) make him cost-effective depth option; 4th-round pick expected.

Pollard is positioned as a cost-effective, healthy alternative to Taylor for teams seeking running-back depth. His 595 rushing yards and six touchdowns rank ninth in the league this season. Tennessee could seek trade value for Pollard, who is likely to walk in free agency this spring anyway. A team renting Pollard for the second half of the season would likely need to pay a fourth-round pick or slightly more to award the Titans more than the compensatory pick they'd otherwise receive.
