Burrow was both brilliant and weirdly reckless on Sunday. He completed 38 of 48 passes for 462 yards and five touchdowns. However, he also threw three interceptions, a couple of which were pretty ugly, including an underthrow of a wide-open Chase that should have been a touchdown.

Burrow went 38-48, 462 yards, 5 TDs, 3 INTs vs. Titans; brilliant but reckless play continues.

In the Bengals' overtime win over Tennessee, Joe Burrow completed 38 of 48 passes for 462 yards and five touchdowns, but also threw three interceptions, including an underthrow of a wide-open Ja'Marr Chase that should have been a touchdown. The source characterizes Burrow as 'both brilliant and weirdly reckless' and notes that as long as he's brilliant more often than reckless, the results don't matter. The source also notes that the Bengals' rushing attack struggles (second-fewest yards in NFL, 3.7 yards per carry) force defenses to focus on Burrow and his receivers without worrying about the run game.
