Arrowhead Pride on Patrick Mahomes

Mahomes' late-game sacks and missed connections on critical plays doomed Chiefs' comeback.

Quarterback had big plays early but made critical errors late; barely missed Travis Kelce on second down that would have put the Chiefs past midfield; took a costly sack on third-and-two when a rollout play broke down and the edge rusher knocked back Walker, disrupting Mahomes' timing and preventing him from seeing Kelce flashing across the screen; on the game's final play, took a sack on a poorly designed look with poor protection and no receivers finding daylight against Denver's man coverage.
