Rice's poor decision on screen pass (cut inside vs. following blocks) netted only 2 yards.

Wide receiver received a screen pass on a critical drive with under four minutes to play when the run game was finally firing and Denver was on the ropes; made a poor decision-making choice to cut back inside instead of following his blocks to the outside, resulting in being tackled for only a two-yard gain on a play that should have strained the tired defense's legs.
