Yahoo Sports NFL on Bo Nix

Nix's 12 4QC and 15 GWD in 42 starts are historic for early career.

Bo Nix has led 12 fourth-quarter comebacks and 15 game-winning drives through 42 NFL starts, the highest values for any QB at this point in his career in NFL history. He averages one 4QC every 3.50 starts and one GWD every 2.80 starts, significantly outpacing Tom Brady's career rates (one every 7.24 starts for 4QC, one every 5.74 starts for GWD). The source notes these stats require a special set of circumstances including a good defense and an offense good enough to keep games close but not dominant enough to win in blowouts; as the Bronco offense improves, these opportunities should diminish as the team plays with leads.
