Pickens' $33M+ extension demand could force Cowboys to trade him.

Pickens is playing on a one-year franchise tag worth $27.3 million, with a second tag next offseason costing approximately $32.8 million; an extension would command north of $33 million per year, worryingly close to CeeDee Lamb's $34 million annual salary, creating a cap problem that could force Dallas to trade him and net quality draft capital.
