Positive signalProjection

Taylor's 3.42 adj. YAC per attempt outpaces Mason's 2.65 on early downs.

Taylor's per-touch metrics are superior to Jordan Mason's: 3.42 adjusted yards after contact per attempt on early downs vs. Mason's 2.65; 38.7% rushing success rate vs. 34.8%; 12.1% forced missed tackle rate vs. 17.4%. Before Indianapolis put a 'For Sale' sign outside Lucas Oil Stadium, Taylor was one of eight RBs with 500+ rushing yards on early downs, suggesting he'd produce more behind Minnesota's offensive line if acquired.
