One of the biggest storylines from Sunday's game was how quarterback Jayden Daniels brought the offense together after going down 10-0 to rally the unit. It apparently worked, because the Commanders went on to score 27 unanswered points after that.
STACKED’s take
Daniels rallied offense from 10-0 down to score 27 unanswered points; Quinn praised his leadership.
Jayden Daniels demonstrated strong leadership and offensive performance against the Eagles. After the Commanders went down 10-0, Daniels brought the offense together and rallied the unit to score 27 unanswered points. Head coach Dan Quinn praised Daniels' leadership, noting that it didn't have to be the coach doing the rallying: "There comes a point when it's enough is enough and this is not a game plan specific one that can be all the way tricked out that's hard to do. And so, for he and for his teammates to look one another in the eye and say, 'Okay, let's get this part of our football in order and do this now.' It's usually more effective that way. So the fact that it didn't have to be me as the one doing that, I thought was good."
