Solak projects Cowboys trade Pickens after Week 9 loss; can't afford him long-term.

ESPN's Ben Solak projects that the Cowboys will trade Pickens after a Week 9 loss to the Colts, arguing that Dallas cannot afford Pickens long-term and should accept a guaranteed third-round pick (or more) in a trade now rather than wait for a compensatory pick in 2028; Solak believes Pickens will be frustrated enough at 3-6 to force the Cowboys' hand before the trade deadline.
