NBC Sports Rotoworld on Bucky Irving

Irving positioned for RB1 ranking despite recent committee split with Gainwell.

Irving is working toward an RB1 ranking despite a recent committee approach with Kenneth Gainwell. In Week 8's monsoon game against Atlanta, Irving racked up 27 carries, though Gainwell took over in the fourth quarter with 18 carries to Irving's one. The source cautions that Gainwell's high-water marks in carries are products of two absurd games and expects RB4 fantasy numbers from Gainwell going forward, positioning Irving as the lead back long-term.
