Yahoo Sports NFL on Joe Milton

Milton has elite arm talent but accuracy and consistency concerns from scouting.

Milton's pre-draft scouting report highlighted rare physical tools—a cannon arm capable of making all NFL throws—but flagged lack of timing, accuracy, and touch; he was a single-side reader who struggled to improvise. The source notes expectations should be kept in check: his lack of development over six seasons in college discouraged his projection, and it took these specific circumstances for him to earn his first NFL start, suggesting limited confidence in his readiness.
