Slot specialist with past production; viable if traded to team with target availability.
Downs is a trade deadline candidate with the Colts seeking a fourth-round pick; multiple teams including the Chiefs, Steelers, and Patriots have been mentioned as interested. The source notes Downs 'has put up big fantasy numbers' in the past and 'would be a viable player' if traded to a team with available slot targets, despite an underwhelming 2024 season. Slot-dependent upside makes landing spot critical.
