Jennings declined 49ers trade offer; Shanahan confirms FaceTime call, no bad blood

Kyle Shanahan confirmed the 49ers attempted to trade for Jauan Jennings and the Vikings were amenable, but Jennings declined the deal. Shanahan said Jennings told him "Man, Kyle, I'm pretty happy. I'm liking stuff" and that there was no "bad blood" between the sides. Jennings led the 49ers with 643 receiving yards last season and was second to George Kittle with 975 in 2024 before signing with Minnesota for up to $13 million, but has only six catches on 10 targets in six games with the Vikings.
