Fantasy Life Articles on Derrick Henry
From the article
Unless you are in a very shallow league, you probably don't have the luxury of benching Derrick Henry this week. But by Friday morning, you'll wish you did... Jacksonville remains an elite run defense, surrendering a league-low 3.4 yards per carry.
STACKED’s take
Henry projected to fail to reach 7.0 points vs. Jacksonville's elite run defense with rookie QB starting.
Adam Pfeifer predicts Henry fails to reach 7.0 fantasy points in Week 9 against Jacksonville despite being a must-start in most leagues. The Ravens face a catastrophic quarterback situation with Lamar Jackson out for the season, Tyler Huntley also sidelined, and undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano starting on Thursday, which will severely cap the offense's ceiling. Jacksonville's elite run defense surrenders a league-low 3.4 yards per carry, allows the sixth-lowest explosive rush rate (7.5%), and sports the eighth-highest stuff rate (22.4%). Only 23.3% of yards surrendered by Jacksonville come on the ground, the lowest rate in the league. Henry is game-script dependent, and with Fagnano under center, the Ravens are likely to trail, forcing Henry into a game script where he could finish with 45-50 scoreless rushing yards and limited pass game usage.
