Fantasy Life Articles on Kyle Pitts
From the article
You simply have to completely throw out everything the entire Atlanta passing game displayed last week... The Bengals defense (minus last week) may be a bit improved, but they still cannot cover the tight ends.
STACKED’s take
Pitts projects as top-five TE vs. Bengals' weak tight end coverage in improved weather conditions.
Adam Pfeifer predicts Kyle Pitts finishes as a top-five tight end in Week 9 against Cincinnati. Pfeifer advises disregarding Atlanta's poor Week 8 performance, which was marred by Michael Penix's four interceptions in awful weather. Conditions should improve significantly in Madrid this weekend, benefiting Pitts, who had been performing well prior to Week 8. The Bengals defense allows opposing tight ends to average 12.9 fantasy points per game (ninth-most in football) and 9.6 targets per game (third-most). Only the Lions have allowed more receiving yards per game to tight ends than Cincinnati (88.7 yards). Pfeifer notes he'd feel even better about Pitts if Bengals cornerback DJ Turner (heel injury) plays, as Turner shadowing would likely keep him on Drake London, allowing Pitts to exploit the secondary.
