Yahoo Sports NFL on Malik Willis

Willis executing Shanahan scheme with play-action and bootleg concepts.

Willis is the Dolphins' starting quarterback running a Shanahan-influenced spread offense with heavy play-action (26.6%, 11th in NFL) and RPO/rollout/bootleg concepts designed to buy time in a muddy pocket. Dan Campbell praises Willis's execution of the scheme's eye candy, motions, screens, and gadgets, noting he's done a heck of a job with the versatile offensive system.
