Yahoo Fantasy Football on Trey McBride
From the article
McBride was already the TE1 overall in usage, but his rare volume is further insulated. Of course, it's never a fun time against the Seahawks defense. They've allowed the fewest passing yards per game (169.1) and the fourth-fewest points to TEs.
STACKED’s take
McBride is TE1 in usage but faces elite Seahawks pass defense with low team total.
The Cardinals no longer have Marvin Harrison Jr., Kendrick Bourne, Jalen Brooks, Reggie Virgil, Jeremiyah Love, and Bam Knight. McBride was already the TE1 overall in usage, but his rare volume is further insulated. Gardner Minshew is known for his garbage-time dropbacks. However, it's never a fun time against the Seahawks defense, which has allowed the fewest passing yards per game (169.1) and the fourth-fewest points to TEs. Colston Loveland (65 yards), Travis Kelce (44), and George Kittle (24) all had fairly quiet outings against them this month. McBride has battled against them recently, too: TE9 on TE2 usage in Week 2, then TE1, TE15, TE7, and TE2 in his other games against Mike Macdonald. A 14.75-point team total is scary for his touchdown odds, even if he'll likely see 8+ targets again.
