Bucs coach Todd Bowles claimed Kenneth Gainwell's recent production has the Bucs' backfield much closer to the 1A/1B ordeal fantasy managers feared over the summer. Gainwell benefited from game script; source won't start him despite Bowles' hype.

Bucs coach Todd Bowles suggested Gainwell's recent production indicates a 1A/1B backfield split with Bucky Irving, but the source believes Gainwell was the beneficiary of back-to-back unrepeatable game scripts; the source will not be scared off Irving by Bowles' comments and will not start Gainwell based on them.
