I don't expect that type of output from Allgeier moving forward, especially this week, but he will be a volume-fueled running back option for lineups.
STACKED’s take
Allgeier's elite efficiency can't overcome Seattle's elite run defense without volume and TD.
After Jeremiyah Love and Bam Knight got injured last week, Tyler Allgeier became Arizona's bell-cow runner and responded with 16 touches, 191 total yards, and two touchdowns (RB1 for the week). Derek Brown cautions not to expect that type of output moving forward and notes Allgeier will be a volume-fueled option. Among 42 qualifying backs, Allgeier ranks 1st in yards after contact per attempt but 31st in missed tackle rate. Brown projects he will need all the volume he can handle and a touchdown to pay off this week against Seattle, which has shut down rushers: over the last five games, Seattle allows the 4th-lowest explosive run rate, 11th-lowest rushing success rate, and 8th-fewest yards before contact per attempt.
