Yahoo Fantasy Football on Adonai Mitchell
From the article
Geno Smith and Mitchell were absolutely balling in Week 8. There were three incredible timing, deep out routes that were on the money in addition to his red-zone fade ball TD and his multiple post targets. Here are target shares in Weeks 1, 7 and 8 when all of the top-3 WRs were active: Wilson (29%), Mitchell (16%) and Omar Cooper Jr. (6%). Mitchell would do well to hold onto this WR31 on WR34 per-game usage start to his season, but it's clear that his downfield role will lead to big games.
STACKED’s take
Mitchell's 16% target share and downfield role with Geno Smith balling support big-game upside.
Garrett Wilson (concussion) hasn't practiced—a huge deal. Geno Smith and Mitchell were absolutely balling in Week 8 with three incredible timing deep out routes, a red-zone fade ball TD, and multiple post targets (one caught, one 46-yard post that should've been caught). That was the best Geno Smith game in a very long time. Target shares in Weeks 1, 7, and 8 when all top-3 WRs were active: Wilson (29%), Mitchell (16%), and Omar Cooper Jr. (6%). The first-rounder's target share won't stay that low, so there's real consolidation up top. Mitchell would do well to hold onto his WR31 on WR34 per-game usage start to his season, but his downfield role will lead to big games.
