Lamar Jackson IR'd for thumb surgery with discouraging return outlook.

Placed on injured reserve ahead of Week 9 with thumb surgery scheduled; discouraging reports on return timeline with no firm team confirmation; minimum four-game absence makes him eligible to return after Week 13 bye; two-time MVP has stated reluctance to play before fully healthy, and comfort with an injured throwing hand presents an even higher bar to clear for fantasy relevance.
