Yahoo Sports NFL on MarShawn Lloyd

Lloyd downgraded to limited with knee injury; Packers RB depth mitigates impact.

Running back MarShawn Lloyd appeared on the Packers injury report Thursday with a knee injury and was given limited participant status after being a full participant Wednesday with no injury status. Players who drop out of practice with an injury are also given limited participant status, so that's possibly what happened to Lloyd. However, the Packers' running back depth is healthy with Kaleb Johnson being healthy scratched, making it unlikely Green Bay will need a roster move if Lloyd can't play against New England on Sunday.
