STACKED’s take

Positive signalMatchup

Downs' slot matchup vs. Dallas' weak interior defense could push him into Top 24.

Despite being out-targeted by Keenan Allen in three of the last four games, Downs faces a favorable Week 9 matchup against Dallas, which ranks 30th in YPG allowed to slot WRs, 20th in passing success rate allowed, and 27th in defensive EPA per play allowed. Only the Chiefs and Lions allow more first downs per game to slot WRs; only the Eagles and Lions give up more catches to interior receivers. The setup supports Downs sneaking into the Top 24 in Week 9.
