EPA per Target: 0.33 (Lamb), 0.42 (Pickens), 0.34 (Flournoy). At 44 targets through Week 8, Flournoy's workload is less than half of Lamb's. Flournoy is already creeping into WR3 territory as TE production in Dallas wanes. If the WR room also thins out at the deadline, Flournoy could go from a WR3 to a weekly starter overnight.

Flournoy's elite efficiency and rising snap share position him for WR3-to-starter leap.

Flournoy is generating elite efficiency despite half the workload of Lamb (44 targets vs. 88) and 18 fewer looks than Pickens. His EPA per target (0.34) matches Lamb (0.33) and Pickens (0.42), and he's averaging more YAC per reception than Lamb (4.8 to 3.5). In 2025, he ranked 11th among 93 WRs with 250+ routes in first downs per route run, and across 12 games with all three Dallas WRs active, Dak Prescott had his highest passer rating when targeting Flournoy. Over Weeks 6-8, as Dallas shifted to run-focused play-calling (-11.4% and -2.8% PROE), Flournoy's snap rate increased (1.7% to 18.4% in 2WR sets) and he scored his second TD. Already creeping into WR3 territory; if Cowboys trade a WR at deadline, he could become a weekly starter overnight.
