In three games without Terry McLaurin (IR), Diggs is the WR30 on WR24 usage. His role isn't going to change in terms of snaps or alignment, but the Commanders may pass more without McLaurin helping to establish a lead and first-read targets are easier to justify to Diggs without their top target.

NeutralRole

Diggs is a WR3 with increased passing volume but limited separation upside.

Diggs projects for 43.5 receiving yards in three games without Terry McLaurin (IR), operating as WR30 on WR24 usage. His snap share and alignment won't change, but the Commanders may pass more without McLaurin, making first-read targets easier to justify to Diggs. On tape, Diggs plays a crafty slot/underneath role similar to Travis Kelce, finding soft spots in zone and serving as a clear red zone threat. He's not creating separation at the top of his routes in man coverage. Diggs had 9.8 expected half PPR points (WR24) last week and is a fantasy WR3 currently, while Antonio Williams is breaking out in a full-time role.
