NeutralRole

Williams needs better run concepts against Colts' 4.9 yards-per-carry defense; scheme matters more than volume.

Javonte Williams needs better offensive scheme execution; Dallas ran the ball 39 times against Arizona but gained only 93 yards, so simply calling more runs is not enough. The source states Brian Schottenheimer needs to find the concepts and directions that actually create space for Williams rather than repeatedly running into crowded areas. Establishing Williams would make life considerably easier for Dak Prescott, and the Colts are allowing 4.9 yards per carry with DeForest Buckner no longer on their defensive front after being traded to San Francisco.
