On another play, Sarratt was Mendoza's initial read on an out route against Cover 3, but Mendoza correctly recognized the safety rotating down into the curl-to-flat zone made it risky and came off to find the tight end on a sit/curl route over the center instead, moving the sticks and putting the offense in scoring position.
