We're just building them up. We know it's going to take a little bit of time, they haven't much on the conditioning part of it and rehab part of it. We know they can play; we want to be smart getting them there and how we go about that.

Rice ramping conditioning; not yet 100% recovered for full-time role.
Wide receiver Rashee Rice continues a planned rehabilitation routine during full-team practices, starting on the field before leaving for rehab work during team periods. Head coach Andy Reid stated the team is "building them up" and acknowledged Rice "haven't much on the conditioning part of it and rehab part of it." Video evidence of Rice running a downfield route on air shows he has significant work to do before achieving 100% physical recovery and returning to the full-time role the Chiefs' offense expects from him.
