Coker's versatility allows McMillan to move inside; both can play multiple spots.

Coker's emergence is great news for the Panthers because it allows Tetairoa McMillan to move inside as a big slot, which Carolina wants to do. McMillan and Drake London are similar types, and London is awesome in the slot. Coker can play either spot (big slot or outside) because he is tough over the middle and is a polished route runner with no wasted motion and a nice catch radius on horizontal routes.
