Yahoo Fantasy Football on Tetairoa McMillan

McMillan could improve with more slot usage; elite intermediate separator as rookie.

Tetairoa McMillan was everything the Panthers hoped for after taking him in the top 10 last season, dominating as a separator on digs and out-cuts in the intermediate area as a starting X-receiver. Matt Harmon notes McMillan left some plays on the field as a rookie and could add nuance off the line to stack corners on vertical patterns. The Panthers want to play him from the slot more in 2026; McMillan's 15.2% slot rate ranked 101st among 117 WRs with 200+ routes last season, so moving closer to 20% would be a big enough deal to help him take the next step.
